Booked table in Restaurant on Friday night for 3 of us. Had choice of 3 real ales on tap, went for a Pale Brummie from local Birmingham Brewery. Food was top notch. Tasty fish cakes to start with great hollandaise sauce. Fish & chips for main with curry sauce and mushy peas which was also great. Freinds both had the Hake which they said was superb. Finished off in the bar area listening to live singer who was top class. Would definitely recommend to anyone out for a meal or drink in Moseley.

Friendly staff help create a very pleasant environment. Menu is not extensive but caters for most tastes. Good range of drinks. Probably a bit on the pricey side. Plenty of parking.

Never judge a pub by its exterior. The Village is a case in point. It may look unimposing, open the door and prepared to be dazzled. I love the modern well-lit, spacious, high-ceiling interior. The bar counter is central to this space, a seamless separator between the bar and restaurant. The restaurant is cozy. I love the comfy, cushioned booths that are spread around the interior. Service is professional and caring. There timing of food delivery and questions was perfect. The food selection maybe British, but has enough variation and breadth in ingredients to be interesting. I opted for a vegan selection: sweet potato croquette, jackfruit pizza and sweet potato shepherds pie. The croquettes were presented beautifully. The pizza was a textural showcase. The pie was hearty and flavoursome. The Village is so cool and comfortable. It’s definitely recommend for any social occasion.

Nice bar with a good chilled atmosphere but drinks are expensive and food can be hit and miss, they also say they stop serving food at 9 but stopped serving at half 8 which was a bit disappointing
